It's a question my school board colleague asks whenever we struggle with a decision. The answer guides every choice I make as a school board member. It frames every action we take as a board to help every student throughout our district.
I am seeking re-election to the Parkway School Board so that I can continue to ask that question and help our district achieve its mission: to ensure all students are capable, curious, caring and confident learners who understand and respond to the challenges of an ever-changing world.
I am fortunate to have been entrusted by the Parkway community to serve on the Board for six years. I hope that my commitment to the students and families of our district has earned the privilege to continue to serve. If re-elected I will ensure that Parkway maintains and improves its standing and reputation. I will be an advocate for our district and for the benefits of public education.
I want Parkway to be a space where every child is empowered to thrive. I will continue to collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure this goal is a reality for every student.
My mother was a public school teacher for over 30 years. I witnessed firsthand the immense responsibilities of her job. As a board member, I have the backs of Parkway teachers. I make sure that teachers get the support they need.
I work to fulfill the district's mission statement: "To ensure all students are capable, curious, caring and confident learners who understand and respond to the challenges of an ever-changing world."
I help Parkway utilize resources efficiently to ensure that our teachers and students succeed.
I passionately advocate for Parkway's values, aspirations, and collective well-being.
